The Children’s song

Sad is the life
Of those who’s stories are not told
Gone are the people
Left to say
The words of hope
They are left with a fear
Of when
The next person
Will go

Hope
Risen from dust
Love
Born from family
To the next
And life
Keeps on living strong
As strong as they can be

Take a child’s hand
And hear their story
Rise and dance
Song of happiness
And joy
Peace that reigns
On high
The sound of the children
Makes the tears fall

Hope
Risen from the dust
Love
Born from family
To the next
And life
Keeps on living strong
As strong as they can be

There is something in the air
The children describe it as despair
Where is the water?
Where is the food?
Don’t cry today
Keep living on

Hope
Risen from the dust
Love
Born from family
To the next
And life
Keeps on living strong
As strong as they can be
