This piece is simply an admiration of the side of the sun and how it feels. If the sun would speak what would it say. Maybe even its origin.

I AM GOD

Rays of your light fall upon me as a blanket

I can feel the security of your embrace

I become lost in you

Your warmth surrounds me

Hold me

Squeeze me tighter

No… tighter

I don’t want to feel the coldness of this world

The darkness brings wrath

There is no joy there

I am afraid in the dark

I crawl into a corner and hide for you to return to me

I reach out to you

Oh, God of light return to me

I need you

In the darkness I have lived for too long

I have yelled “release me into the light”

I have fought for you and won

I return to the light

You have taken me and consumed me

In the light I am no longer me

I am you

I am the god of light

I am the Sun.
