A poem on teenage angst.

She's beautiful to all who see her

Vibrant eyes and a pretty smile

But not when she looks in the mirror

You're not pretty enough

You're not skinny enough

When she looks in the mirror

Your skin is too oily

Your lips are chapped

"Please stop" She whispers

He will never love you

"Leave me alone"

He will never want you

"Stop it!"

You're not good enough

"Shut up!"

She swallows the pills and in her dying moments she wrote in lipstick

Beware the monster in the mirror

That was pretty tense. I'm one that likes a lot of conversations in books, as well as poetry. Talking to that monster in the mirror is, well, brilliant imagery.
You're really good, great work!
