~~Somewhere in an unknown location, there is a contest going on. Not a sporting contest or beauty contest but a passion contest. A huge crowd gathers in a field, surrounded by trees and they watch as people come onto a stage and express their passion. Passion pours from their bodies in a cloud of steam and smoke, passion comes from every part of their body, passion pours from their eyes, mouth, from every orifice. They walk and run across the stage in a frenzy of passion filled performance. Dancing, singing, jumping, swinging, their bodies exude passion in every way possible. Passion overflows into the crowd and the audience becomes hyper with tension and passionate delight. They reveal their passions to each other and they also begin to steam with passion. Soon, the whole spectacle melds into one and the performances of the contestants and the crowd fuses into one enormous orgy of passion. A bird’s eye view reveals a huge steamy vapour of people energized beyond control and excited beyond belief by this ultimate experience of shared passion. In a tree nearby, there is a man, sitting, watching, wondering, a little saddened. He cannot participate, he feels excluded, he is envious, he is bewildered, he has no passion.
