I would have loved you till the rivers dried
Till the reaper and the sower died
Till the armies of the damned collide

I could have dreamt of you till dreams were real
And there’s nothing more to taste or feel
And no one’s left for me to heal

I would have carved your image in my hand
Your eyes set with a fiery brand
To make my heart stop on command

I could have loved you till the cities fell
Till the vapours found the place we dwell
But now you’ve sent me into hell
I'll see to it you're here as well
