Ryo's point of view:
Get a hold of yourself Ryo! I scolded myself, but I couldn't drown out a strange voice residing within my inner thoughts. "Don't fight it Ryo-san. You know you want to, so go ahead and quench
your blood thirst!" I wanted to believe that the voice in my head pure evil, I wanted to ignore the murderous ideas that were filling my head, but the voice sounded so sweet, almost seductive,
and I couldn't stop imagining how many ways I could end people's lives. Oh, the possibilities! "This is insane!!" I yelled, fairly loud too, for all eyes were on me now, but I didn't care. My
head was throbbing and my heart's pace increased in both tempo and acceleration. It felt as if it would burst at any moment! Then, it hit me. The only way I could put an end to this unbearable
suffering was to, indeed, give in to my desires. I began fiddling with a pencil positioned on a nearby desk. I began rolling it, letting it slide from one end of the desk to the other. Then, I
picked it up and began observing its detail. Its texture, its colour, and so forth. It seemed innocent enough, so everyone just averted their attention back on Jayme, who was now laying on a
stretcher carried by two middle aged men. "Perfect." I muttered. I tossed the pencil in the air and caught it, then I tossed it up again, I continued doing so for a couple of minutes, mentally
preparing myself for what I planned to do. Multiple thoughts went through my head, this time trying to reason with me.It's a bad idea Ryo-san, don't do it.hink about what people will
think, what will your parents say? I assumed that this voice belonged to my conscience, which meant it could easily be ignored. I threw the writing utensil at a nearby girl. "OMG!! My
eye, my eye!! It hurts, help me!" she squealed. "Such accuracy!" I congratulated myself. She was panicking, as was expected, but it was getting annoying. "Geez, you are a noisy girl, aren't you?"
I asked, not bothering to hide my annoyance. Everyone looked at me, baffled at my earlier comment. As if to say, "what, are you crazy", or "show some sympathy!" But, everyone remained silent.
"Ryo-san, are you feeling o.k.? You're not acting like yourself, I'm worried." Ani-chan asked her voice shaky. "You saw me...didn't you?" I queried. "Well, umm... yes, I did. Ryo-san, how
could you?" She asked. She sounded as if she was disgusted and concernedall at once. "Ani-chan, don't worry, that's nothing compared to what I'm about to do. Now, don't blink or you
might miss it." I warned. Before she could reply, I ran towards the girl with the now bloody eye and punched her in the abdomen. I could feel her ribs shatter as I forced my fist farther, and
farther, and farther, until there was nothing left to punch. I had punched straight through her. Blood poured from the newly created hole, dying the carpet a lovely shade of red and filling the air
with an intoxicating aroma. It dripped from my finger tips, tickling my hands and sending a feeling of excitement through me. The feeling traveled through every vain in my body, it felt like a
drug, and I wanted more. So, without hesitation, I pulled one of the fragments of her ribcage from inside her and began chanting. "Any, many, miny...mo!" I sang, pointing at an androgynous looking
brunette boy. His eyes widened in terror. I knew what he was thinking. He was thinking "What will happen to me?". So, I decided I'd make him wait no longer. The piece of the bone was pretty sharp,
excellent. I ran at the brunette at full speed and sliced through his throat. I felt a smile take place as the blood sprayed onto me. I'm almost certain the boy would've screamed, if he could
have, that is. "Ryo, please stop! Think of Kaori-chan, what would she think!?" Ani-chan's words cut me deep. I began thinking of Kaori-Chan, her smile, her laugh...her tears. Thump! The bone
dropped to the ground as I allowed my arms to drop, weightless at my sides. What was wrong with me? I had just taken the life of two innocent people, and I had gotten so much pleasure from it. I
dropped to my knees and began hyperventilating, and, before I knew it, my wrists were accompanied by something hard and cold. "Yuhi Ryo," a man said in a harsh tone, "you're under arrest on
account of murder." I didn't fight, I knew I deserved it. I even rejected a chance to testify at a trial. Maybe I truly am insane.
