My Dad - My hero

One day not long after fathers day i had come 2 visit u,

and as u lay sleeping i wanted 2 say hi and give u a hug

but he said u were sleeping and to let u sleep.

Leaving u that day i didn't know that it would b the last time

that i would c u alive.

After arriving back home she said "he's gone" and not long

after there was a phone call that proved her right.

It all happened so fast that i didn't know wat was happening,

and a few days later we said goodbye.

the funeral went fast then they played a song as the curtain closed.

Its now been almost 12 years since u left this world,

and each day i miss u a little more

i wish u were still here and feel sad when i c happy

fathers and daughters around everywhere

i wish u could b here 4 when i walk down the isle

im sure u will b in spirit.

I love u dad u were always my hero,

My knight in shining armor, the one that

always looked after me.

Now all i have left r memories and a few

photos.

I hope ur having a great time up there

above the clouds, with Uncle Shane,

and not getting up 2 much mischief

i will c u again when its my turn 2 leave.

No one will ever take ur place ur my one

and only dad.
