Long poem, short stanzas, random lines. Thought of whatever came at the top of my head, did a little revising, and presto chango.

Crime Brilliance

I saw the light.
I saw the peace
I saw the fight,
And now police.

Through the shadow.
Through the shades.
Through the snow,
Marched the brigades.

Beat by life.
Losing to death.
Bringing strife,
Comes Macbeth.

Watch me gallow.
Watch me scare.
Watch the shallow
Blood give glare.

Broad and tall
Men by the trees.
Watch them fall,
To their knees.

Glory and fame.
All people scammed.
All a game,
How others are damned.

You wish you knew.
How I could.
You wish you, too,
Understood.

I ran the tight line.
Ran it well.
My time to shine,
I never fell.

But in the end.
Life caught up.
And I contend,
And I letup.

Genius rhymes.
Brilliant schemes.
Talking of crimes,
Crushing of dreams.
