Meant to be an inspirational poem about a figure of mine that had pride in what he did.

Take A Stand For Your Land

Honestly, honesty lost hope.

I don’t realize how to cope,

Courage is a scheme,

Nothing but a dream.

Justice’s ship sailed,

Beat, gone and failed.

Passion is only found in crime,

Developed with extensive time.

Excellence is overrated

As a wise man once stated,

The best will come out,

When there is only doubt.

One man took a stand,

For his country, for his land.

I thank him, he rethought hope.

I now know how to cope.

Be the man,

Who took the stand,

For his country,

For his land.
