I light poem with expectations from the future. This kind of suits me because I've never had a boyfriend and I don't know what or whom I'm waiting for...

Pretty faces and bright eyes

It’s always the same disguise

I think yes that would be perfect

But inside I know that’s a plane lie

It’s clear and it’s simple

That the perfect manikin wasn’t the gentleman

It’s cruel but it’s real

That a beautiful soul never is perfect outside

You can search in the deepest sea and the brightest star

But it’s hard to find a beautiful heart

The one that will care and comfort

The one that isn’t selfish and absurd

I’m waiting here all alone

Sitting on the side of the highway

Passer by’s go with their temporary soul mates

While I think he’s gonna be worth the wait

Maybe I’m a Cinderella in waiting

Or maybe I’m the ugly toad

Anyways, I’m waiting here

At the end of the road.
