Good bye to self-deprivation and to the last star in the sky our innocence is burning in the heat of this July.

Burning in the heat but we'll be the first to run; sweating in the heat from the star we call the sun.

But we'll the first, we'll be the first, we'll be the first to run.

The sunsets in the west but the sun is never gone

It never leaves us in the dust

It never leaves us here alone

We leave it sound in darkness but the sun lives on, lives on.

Summer is coming: you can hear it in the wind; you can see it in the stars and feel it in the breeze.

Days are lasting longer and the sun hangs in the sky high above the trees but not for long, good bye July

Our hands held high with pride but these hands are never wrong

They never fail us in our love

They never fail us in our death

We fail them in the darkest hour but the hands live strong, live strong.

These hands hold up our stars that we've been wishing on for too long, too long. Too many wishes to grant

That even the sun starts to think that it can't fulfill every wish, make every dream come true

But that's always proven wrong by summer's vibrant hue.

Summer is coming: you can hear it in the wind; you can see it in the stars and feel it in the breeze.

Days are lasting longer and the sun hangs in the sky high above the tree but not for long, good bye July
