I’ve been silently waiting for the time to be right

And now it's my turn. I won't go down without a fight.

I’ll take control from my empire under ground

And you never can hear me but I'm the first to make a sound.

Planning and plotting different ways to divide

Your soul from your body, your heart from your mind.

Separation of bodies and the heart that you lack

Is solidified proof that I've been to hell and back.

You're broken, you're broken just like your heart

But you can't fix all the pieces that have fallen apart.

I've seen all the damage and how your family tree grows:

With wicked  branches above and rotting roots below.

Exploring your mind - one by land, two by sea

Lighting each lantern with the spark you want to be.

Sparking your imagination and finding your cure

Leads me to believe that you're not who I thought you were.

I've been too judgmental and too harsh to see

That your name isn't The Devil. It's Miss Understanding.
