I will have a maiden fair,
You can't cheat me out of love,
I don't want a pretty princess,
If she has a high head and a straight nose.

I'll ride in and rescue her,
From the clutches of an evil fiend,
She'll be besotted the moment she sees,
My majestic frame and superior pose.

She;ll be the damsel in distress,
With awry clothes and tear stained face,
I'll be rewarded for my brave deed,
When she'll say that i'm a hero indeed.

She'll convert my lead to gold,
Melt my heart and softly moult,
Breath life into this body dead,
And bring life to the murky depths.

I will have a maiden fair,
You can't cheat me out of love,
I'll look for you, my precious sweet,
Even if it means riding the whole world round
