Mysterious White Flakes

"Alexa its time for lunch!" Alexa's mom called while Alexa was outside chasing a butterfly, her bare feet rubbing accross the moist grass as she ran back inside taking a peek behind her hoping that it would follow. She sliped on some fuzzy pink socks and headed twords the smooth oak table. As Alexa played with her food twirling around her vegetables and grinded down her spageti.Alexa stared at her parents as they unconfortably shifted in their seat until finally her mom said "Alexa, your dad switched jobs and we will be moving to America soon i'm sorry that you will have to leave your friends behind" Alexa smiled because she was ready to leave that all behind to her it is like an adventure.

The next day Alexa sprinted down the stairs nearly tripping on the way and flung all of her belongings carlessly into a cardboard box and threw them into the trunk of the car. Her dad smiled " for a seven year old you sure are strong?” he marveled. Finally they were ready to move and Alexa dashed into the back seat of thier navy blue mini van urging her parents to hurry up and get in the car overwelmed with how it would feel to be on an air plain for the first time.Alexa's dad burst into the car and hollered " are we ready to see Michigan?" Alexa nodded and jittered in the car until  she felt dissy then the car started to rumble VRMMM! and they took off down the road. Alexa took a look at her old house one last time and saw as it got smaller and smaller and smaller until it was as small as a mouse and then.... gone. For the first time Alexa sighed and didn't want to leave but soon the feeling was washed away when she started to think of the ride to the air plane. As the car vibrated and rocked Alexa slowly dosed off to sleep.

When she woke up her mom was slowly rocking her as they approched her new home Alexa wondered if she slept through the whole air plane ride frustration overwelmed her as a warm tear squeezed ouut of her eye. Her mom dryed it and Alexa felt a warm tingle ring through her body and almost immediatly felt better. Soon she dashed home and explored all of the rooms and floors her room especialy. When she entered she gasped the room had rose red carpet with unicorn wall paper with glow up stars almost as if this person was expecting a seven year old to sleep here. Alexa's mom set up her bed and checked the time before comming back and tucked in Alexa " it's been a on day" Her mom wispered as she gave her a kiss on her cheek.Alexa stared at the celling for a long time looking at the glowing stars until  she finally dosed off to sleep.

In the morning sunlight streamed into the room and Alexa's eyes fluttered open. Alexa took a deep breath and did all the things she would usually do in the morning before looking out the window. Alexa gasped as she stared at white crystal flakes with extrodanary details Alexa dashed to her mom almost knocking her over when she asked " what are those white things outside?" her mom smiled and told her to get on her coat and mittens that they brought just incase it gets too cold. Alexa went outside to realize the white flakes had covered thier yard! it was a blanket! Alexa cautiously dipped her shoe into the blanket of white flakes and realized it was completly harmless when her mom molded it into a ball and threw it into the air.The snowball burst into their wall into a design that Alexa had never seen before she imediatly got a fist full of snow and started to roll it and soon she had a snow ball she stayed outside untill her cheeks were cherry red, her hands were numb, and her wrists stung then she went inside and decided that it was the best day ever.
