Where is freedom in a land of hate?
If there is a country where kings rule and people serve,
If there is a nation under God,
If there is a land practising genocide of trees and plants,
If there is a country where colour is seen as paramount,
If such a land exists,
Then I will not mourn the king,
Then I will watch as the church crumbles,
Then I will plant a sapling of hope,
Then I will blind those who see colour,
Then I will regard all borders obsolete, lest they become the walls of our jails.
