Eternal praise for you, oh Holiness

For Your love for me is nothing but great

My Lord, be kind, please do bless my fate

My Lord, in my heart, always be my guest

When against Your will, I always do best

All the evils in the world, I do hate

Bless me, my Lord, with myself I debate

Forgive me, Lord, for these sins I detest

It's a big challenge for me, I admit

To give up a dollar for a penny

To still stay standing up, than to just sit

This endeavor is offered to many

I am here at the bottom of the pit

Chosen to follow, chosen from plenty
