The warm summer's day has finally come

We trade tee shirts and jeans

For caps and gowns

We hold our heads high

As if gallant heroes

Ready to say goodbye

Our names are read loud and clear

As we all step on the stage

With four years of college

Right on the next page

Although it's hard to admit

It's time to move along

We are all growing up

And we need to stay strong

In the future we may gaze

At all the pictures that we took

We might want to go back

But we can only look

When I walk off the stage

And meadander through the crowd

I will not be upset

I will be proud
