So Fades the light.

 So fades the light,
As we drift into night,
How shall tomorrow be,
All we can do is wait,
Alas Resigned to our fate,
At the dawn we shall see.
Life has passed by,
 Was this life a lie.
Unable to face the truth.
So much done in haste,
A lifetime of waste,
Such a tragedy of youth.
Time passes with such speed,
Deep wounds still bleed,
Always there to remind me.
And so fades the light,
As we drift into night,
How shall tomorrow be.
