Once a happy family there lived

and a happy life we led.

With much joy we enjoyed

all that life could send.

Life is short they say

once given never seen

once taken we don't see...

that next is you, next is me.

Harder to bear the loss

than to bear the sorrow

for sorrows drown in barrels

and a loved one my soul it borrows.

The barrel empty, the bottle dry

my feelings numb, my head is hi

with nothing to hide but a wreck of life.

I come to realize my soul never was mine

It belonged to my loved ones...

To those that just died.

The pain is real the choice is mine

to take command or die  by my own hand.
