Truth is very hard to confront but it will set you free. Life has many imperfections if we can understand that we can accept truth with less pain and my compassion.

You finally told me you are dating someone,
Only cause I asked you.
But unlike me 'you are taking it slow, for respect'
Hiding your feelings is just a lie
Don't confuse it with time nor respect.

Love happens and it's beautiful even if it's not between you and me anymore.
Just like lies happen to find their way to the surface of the truth.

With truth comes pain,
Sometimes inevitably
But to know you don't trust me the truth
Make it more painful
To think I can't handle it?
Do you know me at all?

Your diplomacies are useless
Eventually everyone finds the truth
Even if they pretend not to see the elephant in the room

I now know your truths, all of them
Even those which you think are hidden
I felt your silence
I felt my pain
But truth has made understand
I am now free of your chain

Can you be the judge of time?
Time is subjective
Time is personal
Only I can be the judge of my time
And even so why judge?
Acceptance takes time
Isn't it ironic?

Stop judging my choices
Start looking with different eyes
You'll find my honesty and my courage
Instead of judging what's mine.
