To Ask

Poem by: Nilava

Summary

Sometimes you can not do the right thing on right time. Then you come back. Again, but not for the same reason.

Maybe you're asking yourself,
Why I have returned today.
When I had gone so far,
Leaving you on your own way.
Black clouds flying in the sky.
Rain raining from my eyes,
Between the desert, within storms,
That is where my mind lies.
You're the one, who broke my heart;
Making it fall, then tearing apart.
Breaking the bounds, I still came back;
'cos I confess, I'm not that smart.
No baby, don't think I came
Just to give you my heart again.
'cos you can not but break it all,
And that is something you've done all then.
I know, you don't love me anymore,
Neither you've done anytime before.
I also admit, that I've changed.
Some times ago, I loved you more.
All I want, to ask you something
Which I couldn't, when we ended.
For once in your life, please tell me the truth,
Was this drama really needed?
