Sometimes all you need is a little faith. :) (Oh this isn't about religion btw, though it can relate if you wish it to)

See the bridge I build for you
See how strong it stands
Side by side
Hand in hand
With each step I assure your safety
And so the clouds will come?
And the storms will beat against us
Remember, even the brightest rainbows
Cast shadows
And together we can touch the sun
We can reach right up and open the moon!
Remember me
Trust in yourself
Because I am your faith
And together we can make it through anything

I'm so glad to hear that Pratibha! (Hugs back!) I'm not religious but faith comes from belief and God is a great source of that. This is my inner voice (faith) in the poem, the one who tells me to get a grip, pull myself together, see the light! I felt detached from that voice for a while but I think it's back at last, ready to put me into shape again. :) Thank you for commenting, you really are the best! ~ Nixie

:) I have a lot of little voice (I'm not crazy though before you call in the white coats! lol) and they all have their moments. I guess faith is what I need right now. Thank Em, glad it made you happy! ~ Nixie

Absolutely stunning! Brilliantly descriptive and wonderfully described, I like the fact that faith transcends religion and is more important about the person.

I can see this being read and memorised by a ton of people who will think of this piece when they are feeling that they need a bit of reinforcement. :-)

Aw, you know that would be amazing if people were to do that! I guess it's about inspiring people to have that strength to continue. I've had a rough few weeks, thinking like this helps sometimes! Thank you for the awesome comment, it always cheers me up! :) ~ Nixie
