This is something I wrote while I was away on holiday with my family for my brothers wedding. Im not sure it's any good, but feels good to write it down. Sorry if it's a little negative, I have more upbeat things to post, promise! Just my thoughts... can someone give me a better title? Please! It's so bad!

Ok, I have a new title! Thank you Irwin!

I stand aside
Watch the show
Across the coral sand
I take my charming dress
With every thought
I hold my breath
And smile into the lens.
My hands are shaking
My feet are numb
And with my fragile heart
Pounding in my chest
I close my eyes
I hold my breath
And try to remember my lines.
I look away
I'm caught out
If the ocean could just creep up
Take me away from here
I wonder
In the congress of cheers
And think of you…
