A little girl in her mothers shoes.

Her fathers smile.

Tracing her thoughts

with a paintbrush full of colour.

Pink blossom in her bedroom

where her mothers shoes lay.

Faces now light with acceptance,

easy does it fall.

The sky held up

and so the ground beneath her feet.

Nowwhat the world forgets

she recalls here, alone…

with me.
