This was a long time coming. Honeypot and I set each other the challenge to write a poem for a picture of our choice. I had a little writers block but I hope its worth the wait. :)

Beyond the sapphire line of the salty azure depths
Seagulls sail the brisk blue winds for somewhere safe to rest
Tip-toeing the Glacier Mountains of her cobalt crystal specks
They tinker with what looks like rocks, her copper tinted flesh

With ports of quartz and armour, the sunshine soaring blaze
Was lost to fluttering fishes rises a feral ocean spray
Partial to moving flocks not rocks the seagull’s flap away
And there below the skyline walks the graceful mermaid.
