Deserted In Paradise

Just all that I can see up ahead

An empty world, with no one in it

As far as I can see

No creatures near to me

Oh God, I just hate to be alone

When I see winter fall

Why is there still nobody?

Just as prickly as a handful of roses

I wouldn't know exactly where I'm headed

I wouldn't care to know the damage done

When I see the world

I'm as miserable as Hell

Not exactly known for anything

Just dripped outta my brain

And all I can feel

Is "wanting to sleep"

But I'm not this glass marble

That sits in parables

Waiting for a spinning daze

To commend the danger that I'm walking thru

Just so many enemies

I'm not so fond of either

Whatever I could be

To drop dead fruits and vegetables

I'll just let my guards down

Hit the ground when nobody's around

Just like right now

When even talking is not a sound

Any longer, as I stand around

Pealing these ideas off of the skin of my mind

To let the danger stand

Between me and the hands of time

I'll know just what is wrong with me

When I don't even know why
