This is about a person who was once a friend. I guess I'm still dealing with it, but I hope she knows I am happier now than I was being in her life. I can only wish her well! x

You,

no longer

the consciousness - the words that broke your heart.

yet softly whispering in the breeze

are voices asking the seasons to change.

Tomorrow

a calling you did not hear,

the foot steps you could not take,

for the decision you could not make

You will never learn.

You.

No more a validation of my thoughts

but a restlessness of what has not been said

when given the chance.

And in a season to be joyous

I can not think of you.

I can only wish you well

as you walk away.
