Rivers flow, Rhine and stone,

mountains still stand proud.

Each stone a soul to relate to another,

a nation of stones on the ground.

Oceans always strong in vein

the desert doth look vast,

body breathing life below like

A volcanic bubbling bath.

And soil free to walk upon

thy flesh and brittle bone.

Sings of dreams once dreamt upon,

forgotten. Nameless. Unknown.

Lovers lay, legs entwined

Eyes sparkle in the dark,

sleeping side by side like stones

one thousand years apart.
