Salty Affection

Poem by: Nixie

Summary

I know this sounds so sad, but maybe that's why I don't see myself as that person?

I look up at her and she looks back
Assuring nothing but compassion
But there I watch the bluest oceans
Pain her cheeks with their salty affection
With trembling lips she smiles
But its a smile of deception
Who is she?
This is not me
And this is not my reflection
