Take me
Hold me inside
Make me stronger for the winter months
So that I might follow
The forever changing phases
In my life
Never feeling the breeze
Or the bite against my skin
Never the snow beneath my feet
Or that bitter sting
Make me a stranger
Make me brand new
And free me
From those days gone by
