IS ANYONE THERE?

It was raining hard. The car's engine had failed and I was stuck in the middle of a hostile, creepy forest all alone. I needed shelter really badly. As I was running, I saw an abandoned house 10 feet in front of me. I  didn't want to go there but I had no options left with me. So I went there and knocked on the door, assuming that someone would be home.

As I was waiting, I thought I saw someone's shadow in the right hand corner window. I waited. Nobody came. Finally, after knocking thrice, I kicked open the door and instead of opening, it gave away. I rushed in but I noticed something strange. It was really well furnished and strangely, there were no cobwebs, not even a single one.

It was pitch dark. I quickly went upstairs in the master bedroom and found a candle. I undressed, combed my hair and found a full length mirror. I looked at myself...but wait, not just myself but I saw a womens reflection in the mirror just behind me. I quickly turned around. No one. Strange. I looked at the mirror once again but this time I found only my reflection.Strange.

I went to bed but just as I blew out the candlelight, a book fell from the nearby shelf. The moment I was about to pick it up, somebody screamed. It was not any ordinary scream. It was a high pitched, boodcurdling scream. I went to the mirror and saw the reflection once again. I had enough of this. I raced down the stairs and as I was about to go out, I heard someone cough. I lit a matchstick, turned around and saw that girl again. Just at that moment, the wind blew the fire out.
