Writing this piece was a therapeutic exercise. I was feeling, low to say the least...

Pardon me while I taste the sounds of the winds through the trees.
Step back; allow me room to touch the sweetness cultivated by bees.
Oh look how divine the aroma of spring is.
Blessed is he that can smell the colours of the rainbow and its promise.

Let me clear my bones and stretch my throat.
Step back as I rock the anchor and drop the boat!
Oh look how heavenly the hurt is.
Blessed is he who has congenital insensitivity to pain.

Move please as I rescue my sorrows from drowning in this beer glass.
Step back! I need space to mouth to mouth them!
Oh look how peaceful the chaos in my mind is!
Blessed is he that is at peace with himself.

Get out of my way as I smile in rage!
Back off! Allow me to savour the acerbity of it!
Oh look how ominous my vengeful eyes look…
Nature, denial, revenge, anything to forget the hurt!
