The sun beams over the hills. The light reaches out, but doesn't hit me. A few more miles is all it takes. But one more mile and ill break. Grey overcomes my body. I am done. Finished. But I have come to far to fail. I hold my breath. Take one more step. Yet I fall. I get up. Shake it off. Close my eyes and run. My knees wobble. My heart aches. I can't feel myself moving. But in my heart I know I am going. Fast. Faster. Than I ever knew I could. I don't know where I am. Where I stand. But I know I must stop. I open my eyes. And I'm home.
