I saw her kill, I saw her despair.

I saw her love, I saw her be happy.

I felt her misery, I felt her fear.

I didn't know her need, I didn't hear her cries.

And in the end, as the bullet clicked into place, so did my mind.

And Abby, my dear Abby, drifted off in a pillar of flames.

 

"Now you have nothing," Alvirez said. "And she has everything. And that is love."
