When you meddle with others hope and belief.. Even if you are on the same page, it doesn't mean you can act like you know it all; because you are not always correct. What if the one you corrected knows more about it than you do?

Your Masks of Saints

Don’t put the faces of saint in front of me

I loathe every blister of yours

For yours are mere mask only unlike

Those of those saints

You disgraced me, down to the pit of innocence

We are all sinners with many faults

Who hold an upturned candle face down

I will find my way to the wisdom I seek

And all the gospels that embraced me still

Which splint my heart with prayers I preach

And the sin that I bathe from oblivion

Do not put the faces of saint in front of me

For you know not what kind of saint I look upon

Even if your masks are ethereal white

You are always still the peril I dreaded

The night I succumbed

The rain I sheltered from

And the heart I tried not to kill
