That one moment,
for that black and white moment.
No one heard my painful scream,
When I was flat under your feet.
That one moment,
for that one tearful moment.
I promised myself,
I will not be the same as you.
That one afternoon,
That one single afternoon,
I was weeping behind the smiles,
as I tie myself together.
That one afternoon,
Just for one afternoon.
I promised myself,
I will hold myself together. (for now)
That one dark night,
That one moonless night.
As a black cat I walked,
through the crowded room of you.
That one shady night,
That one starless night.
I promised myself,
I will be the black cat.
