Not Forgotten

Time goes by the world keeps turnin but you are not forgotten.

Walked on this earth for a short time and inspired millions around the world.

Your playin guitar was like no other each song played was your fingerprint.

One hundred years or two they’ll still be playin your music through, learnin your metal ways.

From walk to cemetery gates you rocked the world like no other.  Here’s to the fallen but not forgotten.

Darrell Abbott, Jimmie Hendrix, Randy Rhoads, Kurt Cobain, Stevie Ray Vaughan and so many more.

All are not forgotten each unique and beyond compare their music is timeless like Bach and Beethoven still played today.

The world never stops turnin, but mine did.

I felt blind sided.

Metal tears clinked to the ground in unison the world around.

Earth and water fell away to stars and sky.

Why did you have to die and fly to heaven so soon.

I hope you’re in heaven lookin down and smiling at the people playin your music loud and proud.

Here’s to the fallen but not forgotten.
