I thought of as very laid back and savor life. I take notice more of the little things in life than most.

Slow Down for Life

People on the highway always in a rush.

In a hurry to get nowhere and anywhere.

Weather they’re walking or driving.

I was driving home one day and a car passed me speeding by way faster than the speed limit.

They arrived at their destination the party store a mile ahead of where I was.

I shook my head as I drove by thinking “what a petty cause.”

Endangering everyone on the road for what?

Many are in a hurry miss the simple and important things in life.

As small as the words “I love you,” from a loved one.

Too much in a hurry to notice  otherwise.

Or your children want to tell you about what they did in school but you’re in a hurry like a fool.

Rushing through life too fast.

I savor life like a fine wine because you can’t turn back the hands of time to redo the past.
