Crossroads in the mind’s eye blues

Everybody thinks that the crossroads is a secret place just outside of town.

But the secret place is in you mind’s eye as I lay to slumber the crossroads can be in your dreams so it seems.

Every corner and stop sign is in the mind’s eye is where the true crossroads resides.

Each decision we make is a crossroads that we take.

Devil come knockin’ when you start stoppin at the crossroads.

Contemplating too long and temptations become strong.

Right or wrong turn which road do yah take?

Will you be sinkin at the crossroads or drive on to do good?

Devil come knockin’ when you start stoppin at the crossroads.
