Trying not to look back

Walking on a different track

Not able to hear you’re voice

Knowing there was no other choice

Then to leave without saying a word

And making it even more hard

I’m sorry I tired to keep going

But it’s no longer worth trying

I’d hold on like I did before

But you’re just not the same anymore

It seemed far away yet this was my biggest fear

The one you assured me would never be near

I’m sorry, though I don’t know why I’m apologizing

You’re the one who chose this timing

But Maybe I just don’t like seeing you hurt

Because one day my heart beat with you’re heart

That’s when it used to be you and me

When we were just two, not three
