Behind These Eyes

They may be a little clichbr />And they’ll never win you back,
But these words I feel I must say
in the hope they might find a way.

You should know
“you were my shining light,
that nothing ever shines as bright,
and if I have to live without you
I won’t make it through the night.”

And in the case these are my last words,
as they inspire our last goodbyes,
just know I dream about you
every time I close my eyes.
