A poem addressed to all booksie writers. Please don't take it the wrong way, it's not meant to be an attack at all and if it was it would be majorly hypocritical. Not something I truly believe in 100%, just something I was inspired to write recently.

I come each day for poetry,
I come for an escape,
but all I seem to find these days
are poems about rape.

There's so much more to write about, such
beauty and such grace,
so cheer up people, look around,
put a smile back on your face.

Amongst the hate and bloodshed
there's light that's shining through,
just step out from the shadows
and the light will shine on you.

So sure things do look bleak these days,
still I come here just in case,
if you have faith you'll see the good that's
in the human race.
