Smile Like You Think No One’s Watching

You know what's really sad, old friend?
Every poem I write details the
girl I love, and she doesn't even know.
I've tried to get her out my system, but,
good God, her grip is good.
She makes me come alive
again, then kills me in one click.
Now that simply can't be healthy
as I've been writing for a while.
See, the girl I write about is you,
and I'd do anything for a smile.
