Summary

So I sit down to write something else (as is usually the case when I actually write something) and this is what came to me, I just couldn't help feeling the irony was too good to miss.

Spells

Today I take a different view,
for today's the start of something new,
for two long years I've played this game,
my pen has spelt none but your name,

but today's the day I break your spell,
no more I'll spell your name, Michelle.
There'll be no more stringing me along,
nor feeling like I don't belong,

don't you see I'm finally free,
you no longer have a hold of me,
don't think I don't mean it, I promise I do,
no more shall I write about you.

I'll write about the things I want,
like the lights in Vegas or the Fall in Vermont,
but just a second, no! It's true ...
this one's about you too.
