Many uncounted brought, by already deceased

Not enough time to bewail the weak

Could be heard, cower in shade

Can’t stand up, frozen to the spot

Presence known from breath hot

Widen eyes, gasp fast, flailing limbs

They feed from their preys

To die

Foolish ones rise from their shelters had

Either gallantry or because gone mad

Useless bodies unwind from jaws

Don’t relinquish, now laugh at our failing

Most shrink, feeling only hurting

Others scream in prideful battle cries

They are the ones given another life

To die

Just as they think we’ve vanished

Hope still remains in the youngest

New to world, but yearn for harmony

Our strength regains shown in loathing cackles

Who are we now? We’ve seen our reflections somber

Too many revengeful souls, too much hatred taken over

We’ve become what we despise, both sides are

To die
