A poem about rising above revenge. Not caring about 'getting even' and realizing that life without grudges and hatred, a life for God and with God, is a lot better.

When Judgment Day Comes by Nathan Olmstead

You left me here to die;
Expected me to lose myself to bitter decay.
You check up on me from time to time,
But I did not die today.

I know it seems that you're the one that prospered,
But one day you'll be out there on your own.
You've never learned to endure pain by yourself,
I'll teach you, I swear. I'll make sure that you know.

Getting my payback for what you've done to me,
Will be so sweet, but lies not with the blade.
It instead is hidden in my journey to heaven,
I'll rise on wings as you lose your sanity to shame.

I've been redeemed, I've been saved on a greater level.
Singing with Angels as you learn to dance with the Devil.
I never again will sink to your ground, even if you break my heart.
Love I've been getting better, I've been getting better from the start

Azaleas secrets

This poem came like solace, consolation and peace to my troubled heart! It was very timely. I would not have understood the significance of your words if i had read it in lighter hours.

It is excellent and unique, worth reading a thousand times!
