People get tired of being lonely,
tired of waking up alone.
Getting urges controlled on their own.
So they look around,
grab whoever walks by and settle.
And this we call company.

I am not sure what is meant by too short as per the comment above - I am trying to work out how many lines a poem is supposed to be!
Anyway the poem... It is the human condition isn't it, summed up in a few lines, - an interpretation is going to be down to the individual - To me it suggests we simply cling to people like a drowning man to a lifebelt, it does no more than keep us alive.
Short and strait to the point. Very nicely penned truth of life. Good job.
this is a little gem of a poem.it just tells you pont blank.excellent.
