My confession. I changed her name to "girl" for public viewing out of fear. I tried to mix and match structure.

The darkness comes to hide my love from me,
The darkness that I create to protect
Me from the pain and anguish caused by thee
Who knows no fault, who is perfect.

My love remains unrequited
A vain hope for a life more than I have
The day you fall for me I shall be delighted
A perfect life between us we shall halve.

I fall for thee
You ignore me
I yearn to be free
Of this foolish hope that I hold.

No longer will
Love my heart fill
That is, girl, until
Of your love for me, I am told.

Day by day, my love towards you changes.
From passion to comfort to obsession.
Feelings I have, my heart rearranges.
Now is the time! Here comes my confession.

I may joke of my love for you
But that does not make it untrue
Each day I try to change your view
So that you see I am being sincere.

So wondrous a feeling, you see,
The love that dwells deep within me.
No words suffice, regrettably.
Simply, with all my heart, I love you dear.
