Thoughts and feelings.

Sometimes they stretch as high as the ceilings.

But other times there's a drought,

and we have to pick a different route -

Before everything spills upside down,

and we start losing everything that we've found.

Thoughts can evoke feelings,

and feelings - thoughts.

But sometimes feelings rot,

and grow old with time.

Then what?

Can thoughts be independent,

or without feelings will they just be placeless - transients?

Impermanent yet perpetual,

they'll dissipate but we'll still be left with residual.

Is a fragment of a thought salvageable?
