Long Forgotten

I stare into her soul though the beauty of her eyes

Overwhelming the passion discovered envelopes my heart

The taste of her kiss of a strawberry rose & heavy on my lips

With a tighter embrace there is safety in her arms, careful love in her touch

Oh to touch her silky skin drives the senses into chaos

I can hear her heartbeat and feel it in my chest

My heart skips a beat with every touch, every stare

To be lost in her eyes longing for more to be revealed

An endeavor fulfilling a dream with her long since forgotten

The sun peaks over the mountainous silhouette dull in comparison to her

The warmth on my face the elegance of her presence felt

With the rain pouring all around me, dry as she is my umbrella

I seek shelter, in her she is my refuge of safe passage

I hold her tightly fearing nothing; in this is a new found courage

I fear not the darkness with the sunset in her I find my light in life

With just the anticipation of one touch, I find ecstasy in abundance

With her I float, finding the floor not & the corner of a round room

Our bodies intertwine as a swift and beautiful form of poetry

Her silk touch, her kiss sends jolts of pure bliss straight through my body

I smile and shake as she overwhelms my senses beyond control

Overwhelming the passion discovered envelopes my heart

An endeavor fulfilling a dream with her long since forgotten
